Hi,
The Grid pane/tab and the Text pane/tab enabled at the same time, my results from a SELECT go to both Grind and Text. This causes massive memory allocation and usually results in ADS crashing (or me having to force kill it) and losing my edits/changes in the Query Analyzer.
I think the Text pane/tab should work like it does on SSMS which is only PRINT (or in the PostgreSQL case, RAISE NOTICE) should end up in the Text pane/tab. When I issue SQL statements that return recordsets / tuples, I want them to end up the Grind pane/tab only (not in both the Text and Grid). I can always copy-n-paste from the Grid pane/tab.
By having both the Text and Grid enabled, I can get my recordsets / tuples in the Grid and printing of messages in Text.
