Most of the user created content in Aqua Data Server exists in the context of a project. As a user, your access is restricted to projects that you own or are a member of. The My Projects tab displays all of these projects. On this page:
To begin leveraging Aqua Data Server's Data Warehouse, Reporting and ETL capabilities, you will first need to create a project. The project will house all your AquaScripts, server connections, user files and scheduled jobs. You will need the "Create Project" system permission in order to create a project.
As the usage of Aqua Data Server increases and you have access to more and more projects, you might want to quickly find the project that you are interested in. The search textbox is designed to address this use case. After typing in your search text in the textbox Action Bar and pressing enter, Aqua Data Server performs a case insensitive an OR search across the project name, descriptor and category fields and returns all matching records. For instance, lets say you were searching for the text "revenue". Aqua Data Server would perform the following search: project.name like %revenue% OR project.descriptor like %revenue% OR project.category like %revenue% ==> this would return any projects that contained the text "revenue" either in their name, descriptor or category fields.
As a member of multiple projects, some projects might not be relevant to you any longer. The Leave Project action allows you to remove yourself from the specified project. If you choose to leave a project, the ownership of any content that you created or were the owner of is transferred to the current project owner. Once you have left a project, the project will no longer be displayed in your "My Projects" tab and you will no longer have access to the project and its contents. Also, note that you cannot leave a project if you are currently its owner. Only administrators with the appropriate permissions can change project owners.
