Database: Teradata Aster 5.0
1.In ADS,go to Server menu
Select Register Server option
In General Tab enter valid information as follows:
Enter valid server name as AsterDB
In Authentication pane
Enter Login name:db_superuser
Password:db_superuser
In Location pane
Enter Host:192.168.100.100
Port:2406
Database:beehive
Go to Advanced Tab under ObjectFolder option
Go to Schema Folder Grouping and select Yes option from drop down list
test connection and save it
In tree node expand Teradata Aster database Server AsterDB
Go to Databases node,expand it
2.Select desired database in my case I have Select "SQL_Scripts" database,
right click and select Create Schema option
Create Schema window get opened
In Create Schema window,Name field is blank in that field <NEW_SCHEMA_NAME> template should be display
Go to Preview SQL Tab,we can see Create Schema Script get display but we can not entered any schema name
in this tab message should be display like /* Invalid: Schema name has invalid characters */ not a Create Schema Script
