Case #00708451 - Ability to select query statement to run by just putting the cursor in the statement

Is there a way in Aqua to run a query without having to highlight the
entire query with my mouse then press the green Execute button? In other
tools I've been able to put the cursor anywhere in the query and then press
CTRL/Enter to run it. All that is needed is a blank line between different
queries. Is this possible in Aqua?

The tool I use that allows that is Toad. I've also used Oracle's client

tool (forget the name), that lets you do that too. I suppose it's not a
huge deal but I run a lot of quick little queries and it's so much easier
to just hit ctrl/enter instead of grabbing my mouse and hightlighting then
clicking the green arrow.

Aqua does allow the ctrl/enter but it seems to only run the first query on
the Query Analyzer screen. I just tested it. When I put the cursor in the
second query on the screen and hit ctrl/enter it still only runs the first
query. And I need a semi-colon at the end of the query to allow it to work
(which you don't need if you highlight).
