I was doing a sqlexport from mysql and importing into our netezza DB. This caused the Aqua Data Studio CPU %age to spike to 500% until I terminated this command.

When I run sqlimport on other DBs (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) I have not observed such a CPU spike. The Aqua Data Studio CPU %age peaks to around 30% but usually is around 8%.

I have been trying many different things to reproduce this and have been unable. Even dropping my memory to 512k and then executing large data row return sets into extra query analyzers does not give me 500% on cpus. I can get the cpu's to spike for a short time but nothing that lasts...

Am wondering if perhaps it has to do with over loading the system memory and having page swap start for memory reads of the hard drives.

Please reopen issue if we manage to reproduce it...
