I can fairly consistently reproduce an out of memory error by doing the following. (ADS is configured to use the default max memory of 756MB)

Launch table data editor by selecting 100,000 records
Use fill down to edit one column
Preview results
Clear all results
Use fill down to edit same column
Preview results
Use fill down to edit same column
Preview results -- this operation hangs due to low memory

This problem has been fixed in the new Grid view used in Preview SQL tab.
