In Register Server, select Oracle 9i/10g/11g - OCI, and give TNS Service name in Service Name field, the connection fails. Also the Browse functionality to select the service name is lost compared to v13.
* Adding Browse functionality to Oracle OCI - TNS Network Alias connection Type. And for this connection type, tnsnames.ora file is automatically searched under environment variable TNS_ADMIN and then ORACLE_HOME/network/admin.
* For Oracle OCI - TNS Connect Descriptor connection Type, user will have to always use Browse button to select the tnsnames.ora file instead of using the environment variables.
