This page discusses Aqua Data Server's internationalization and interface GUI.
Aqua Data Server is internationalized and designed to automatically detect the browser's localization settings at login time.
Before logging in, you may override the browser's default interface language by clicking the gray links below the "Login" and "Forgot your password?" links
After clicking a different language, the page is refreshed to display in the selected language.
Aqua Data Server supports the world's 21 most widely spoken languages, which include English, Polish, Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Hindi, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, German, Russian, Korean, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified) and Japanese.
Following login, the pages are displayed in the language that you set in your user profile. If you would like to override the interface language for your current session only, you do so by choosing from the dropdown language list at the top right of every page.
To permanently change your interface language, visit the Profile page and select an interface language. If "Default" is chosen, the interface language will be determined based off the browser's settings.
Aqua Data Server is fully Unicode compliant. If your browser is not able to display certain Unicode compliant characters, this is due to your OS not having the necessary fonts or languages installed. Most modern operating systems have the necessary fonts pre-installed.
Windows XP - To get the appropriate fonts for viewing Aqua Data Server go to Start->Control Panel->Regional and Language Options [Languages tab] and make sure the checkboxes for "Supplemental language support" are checked.
