5.2 Profile

The Profile tab allows you to view and edit your personal information. On this page:

• Profile Fields
• Edit Profile
• Change Password
• Upload & Clear Profile Image

Please refer to the section 1.8 Locale Settings - Language, Date and Time for editing Display Information and Email Information date and time formats.

Profile Fields

• Profile Information Fields: Only the first name and last name fields are editable by the user. The Username and email fields can only be edited by an administrator with the appropriate permissions from the Admin -> System Users tab.
• Display Information Fields: The language field specifies the interface language used by Aqua Data Server and the time zone, date, time and decimal format fields specify how data containing numbers and dates will be displayed. Any changes to these fields take effect immediately. • Email Information Fields: These fields work similarly to the Display fields. However, they are only used when the system is sending an email to you and needs to know your preferred language and date, time and decimal formats. For a detailed explanation about these fields see Basic Concepts: Locale Settings

Edit Profile

You can edit your profile information by choosing the "Edit Profile Details" button in the action bar. Changes are applied immediately after clicking "Save."

Change Password

The Change Password  button allows you to specify a new password for your account. You must specify your existing password for security reasons. 

Upload & Clear Profile Image

The Upload Profile Image  and Clear Profile Image  buttons allow you to upload or delete your profile image. The profile image must be in .PNG, .JPG, .BMP or .TIFF format and must be smaller than the maximum file upload file size specified in System Settings. During the upload operation, Aqua Data Server converts the image to 100 x 100 size and does not store the original file that was uploaded.
