Teradata 14 has added a new datatype called NUMBER. Need to support extraction and scripting and handling of datatype.

i used the following script to test the creation of the table and recreation of the table.

DROP TABLE testtable

CREATE TABLE testtable ( // NUMBER ( n=(1-38), x=(0-38) ) * may be used for default value

a NUMBER,

b NUMBER(*),

c NUMBER(*,2),

d NUMBER(12,3),

e DECIMAL(15,5),

f NUMERIC)
