MongoDB : 2.4.4
Currently there is no facility on ADS 'Import tool->Format' tab to save the field name, data type and Position information for future reuse when a user has to import the files of same format repeatedly.
Would it be possible/feasible to have an option to save the current collection field information possibly by giving it some name and later user could just select the saved data type description possibly from a dropdown and Field Name, datatype, Position are automatically set according to previously saved values?
