#10461: Issue while reading Date value from CSV file

Aqua Data Studio 14.0.0-rc-44

1. Extract the file.zip file into a new folder & mount File folder as a project inside of Aqua Data Studio

2. Set CSV file location in script as per your local path.

3. Run the "read_csv.xjs" script.

In the CSV file we have taken Date as a Data. When we run the script it shows Date with time on Console.

For example :

In CSV file Date saved as : 15-10-13

On Console displayed as : 2013-10-15T00:00:00

As we get date as a String in code the extracted content should be displayed as it is saved in CSV file.

Your use case is more suited for TextReader than the ExcelReader, if you want to read exactly as your input file. See the below code

file_reader.setFile(file); //Set file location for the reader
