Throws Exception when we select sql server agent.

Operating Environment:Windows 8 64 bit.

Database version :Ms sql server 2005

Go to DBA tools->select sql server->select sql server agent-> select 'ms sql server 2005' from choose server window and click on ok button.when We clicked on ok button it throws Exception.

Go to management node->Expand sql server agent-> expand jobs node,click on alert message it display the appropriate Alert massage.

@nilesh: how did you turn off this security configuration ? Can you attach a screenshot so that I can reproduce this here?

Turn on security configuration Script :

sp_configure 'show advanced options', 1;

RECONFIGURE;

sp_configure 'Agent XPs', 1;

RECONFIGURE

Turn off security configuration Script:

USE master

EXEC sp_configure 'show advanced options', 1

RECONFIGURE

EXEC sp_configure 'Agent XPs', '0'

RECONFIGURE
