In Sybase Anywhere they have provided a feature to create function. Please see the below link,

Please attach 1-2 sample ddl that i can create here in our lab

I have created following functions in ADS Version 15.0.0

You will notice that when we create functions in Query Analyzer Window, created functions can be seen in ‘Stored Procedures’ option in tree node of database.

Create Functions Scripts:-

1]CREATE FUNCTION DoubleNum( @Input INT )

RETURNS INT

BEGIN

DECLARE @Result INT

SELECT @Result = @Input * 2

RETURN @Result

END;

2]CREATE FUNCTION fullname1(

firstname CHAR(30),

lastname CHAR(30) )

RETURNS CHAR(61)

BEGIN

DECLARE name CHAR(61);

SET name = firstname || ' ' || lastname;

RETURN (name);

END;
