1. Perform a Schema Compare and select 2 tables
2. Once the Schema Compare results window appears, right click on a row
3. Select View as SpreadSheet
A simple execute query and View as SpreadSheet in the Grid Results is now giving the same error
ADS is just executing the "open" call to the OS. It works for me on Ubuntu. You probably just have an issue on your Linux instance. Can you try on a different Linux instance.

Oh, this is OSX. Works for me. Do you have Excel or OpenOffice on this machine?
Ok, so it seems that the action works, but an exception is logged. This didn't occur in 14, but started occuring with the new Java 1.7.0_60.

Looks like this exception is only thrown in the OSX .app package. It does not occur in the Unix package or when running from the Dev environment. This is a minor issue which does not effect functionality. Will push to next version.

I am unable to reproduce this issue on Mac OS X in ADS v18-dev-191 with current View as Spreadsheet functionality. Can we mark this issue as Verified?
