1.Connect to SQL Server 2012.
2.Open DBA tools - > Instance Manager window.
3.Go to "Parameters" tab.
4.Right Click on any Parameter "Value".Select option "Edit server parameter".
5.Follow steps described in screenshot.
6.Here you will observe that,"Alter" button is not working properly.
7.On clicking on "Alter",dialogue box should be closed immediately,or should show proper validation message(related to values if any).
8.In Current ADS,"Alter" button seems to be effect less.

Also when we try to edit other parameter("Run","Min",Max""Dynamic"),
Alter parameter window opens with showing value of column "Value",
If we can only alter value of column "Value",can we disable "Edit server Parameter" option from other columns ("Run","Min",Max""Dynamic"),
