The new approach to setup JDBC - ODBC bridge driver requires documentation in v17 wiki docs.
FYI - here is the message when user tries connecting with "Generic ODBC" for the first time.
Missing driver: The ODBC driver is not bundled with Aqua Data Studio. To use the driver, download JRE 1.7 from AquaFold website http://www.aquafold.com/download/jre/windows/jre1.7-64bit.zip Copy into [ADS_HOME] folder. Below are the step-by-step instructions: 1) Close Aqua Data Studio 2) Download jre1.7-64bit.zip file from the AquaFold website and extract it 2) Copy jre1.7-64bit folder into the [ADS_HOME] folder 4) Start Aqua Data Studio and try to connect to the server Your current [ADS_HOME] is C:\Program Files\Aqua Data Studio Note: Oracle has deprecated JDBC ODBC bridge driver in Java 1.8
I added the information/instructions into the Generic ODBC web page. Additionally, I added links in the Microsoft Access ODBC and the Microsoft Excel ODBC web pages which link back to the Generic ODBC web page installation instructions.

@tom: we should include a screenshot showing the jre1.7 folder in [ADS_HOME]
@tom: the same "note" that you added in Generic ODBC should also be added in For MS Access ODBC & MS Excel ODBC
