my instinct is to select the Region entity off of the palette and begin dragging out regions.
we could consider allowing dragging to make a region of a set size.
When I do drag, the entity is created where my drag ends.

Now I have to change the rest of the items in the palette, including relationships.
One thing I don't particularly like is how it blinks upon drag start - when the size goes from default 120x60 to the one defined by the mouse pointer. The reason we have it like that is a) Niels liked it and b) it allows the user to place a region by a single click.
I messed it up: does not work right with scale != 1.
