Extract/Script/GUI support has been added for permissions information to sql server synonyms. In the synonym tree node you will now have script GRANT/REVOKE action options & ALTER action option. The GUI does not allow for any of the synonym General tab properties to be changed, but does have the extended properties tab and the permissions tab that allow for modifications.
