Operating Environment: Linux (3.13.0-83-generic, amd64) / UTF-8 / en / IN / Oracle Corporation 1.8.0_72-b15
Memory: Max=704,643,072; Total=294,649,856; Free=141,859,712; CPUs=8
Issue is specific to Linux machines.
Steps to reproduce the issue :
1) Connect to any database server.
2) Open a Query Analyzer window for it.
3) In QA window by default "Auto Complete" is in ON state.
4) Keep "Caps Lock" OFF.
4) Now press 'Ctrl+Shift+U' keys to OFF 'Auto Complete' in query analyzer window.
Actual Result : You will observe that short cut key 'Ctrl+Shift+U' is not working here.
Please refer attached screen-shot "Auto Complete_Shortcut key.png".
Expected Result : If we press 'Ctrl+Shift+U' keys 'Auto Complete' should get OFF in Toolbar.
Observations :
1. This issue is observed on Linux machine if Caps Lock is OFF.
On Linux Machine this shortcut key works if Caps Lock is ON.
2. This issue is observed in all V15, V16 and V17.
3. On Windows and Mac OS this shortcut key works correctly.
Looks like this behavior is due to Ubuntu have a pre-defined shortcut key for this combination:
