No, It is not working. Please see the attachment in my first post.

I am doing the below steps:

Right click and selecting execute explain also through the command explain <sql statements> both are giving only explain plan in text format no visual explain plan/graphical.

Also same as whiteboard option. Not showing up.

What version of Vertica and Aqua Data Studio are you using?

Aqua Data Studio only supports text explain plans for Vertica which means that the output for the execution plan will not be in grid format like some of the other databases that we support. See screenshot.  When you right click in the results area of Aqua Data Studio, you can select the "Add to Whiteboard" option. See screenshot. This will add the content from the results as well as the query to the whiteboard. See screenshot.

Thanks for the update.  Now, I got the answer.

I was expecting DS will work as same as other DB and I will get visual explain plan in the grid format.  

Any plan to include this visual explain(grid format) plan for Vertica ?

It is not on near future road map.  I will leave this issue open so that your request will be evaluated by our management team for a future release.
