The customer is trying to use the AwsCredentialsProviderClass com.simba.athena.iamsupport.plugin.BrowserAzureCredentialsProvider with the Athena connection type in Aqua Data Studio 21.1 and the connection fails because the class can’t be found. This class is a feature that came in October 2021 with the release of the Athena driver JDBC 2.0.25

ADS version 22.1.3 ship with the same old athena.jar file that is missing that class. The customer was able to solve the issue on his machine by replacing that bundled athena.jar file with the latest AthenaJDBC42.jar from the AWS page

He would like to have Aqua Data Studio to ship a newer version of the Athena driver (preferably newer than 2.0.25) with the installer.
