Version 10.0

Version: 10.0.0-dev1.16
Build #: 19277
Build Date: 2011-Feb-15 07:39:12 PM

Operating Environment: Windows XP (5.2, x86) / Cp1252 / en / US / Sun Microsystems Inc. 1.6.0_20-b02
Memory: Max=810,942,464;  Total=63,418,368;  Free=14,976,544;  CPUs=8

1. in the files browser, double click a zip containing nested folders and contents.

2. once the compress list appears, left click once on a file that resides in a nested folder.

3. with only that file selected, click the extract icon to choose to expand that file to a directory.

4. When you finish extracting, you've extracted its parent folder and the file you chose is inside it.

My expectation was that if I select a single file, and I choose a destination, that is all that will be extracted to that destination without any parent folders.

Winzip does not do this, it extracts only the exact file I select without its parent directory.

Is this a bug, or as designed?
