Query Analyzer As command will open a query window with the configured username and not the prompted one.

Unable to reproduce with the provided steps (which I found none because nobody attached steps to reproduce the issue).
However, right-clicking on a server node and selecting Query Analyzer As... produces an Authenticate dialog. If I enter an (invalid) username and password, the exception tells me "Login failed for user x" where X is the user name entered on the dialog. Unless other steps are involved, I am unable to reproduce.
To reproduce the condition, uncheck 'Save password' checkbox in the server registration. Then connect to that server, expand tree, right click on a database node and select Query Anazyler As...
The trick seems to be in 'Save password' being off.
