When you use the "Paste to Window" function, if you have selected text in the Editor window to replace, it doesn't get replaced (if you paste anything else after selecting text, the paste replaces the selected text). If the current behavior is desirable (insert new text after the selected text), then it can be supported by creating two undo-able steps rather than just one, so that to get back the previously selected text and still have the new text follow it, the user can just undo once. This might be the default anyway, if this bug gets fixed by first deleting any selected text in the editor before pasting the new text.
