In our test environments, we use comment lines inside scripts executed in batch mode in order to compare the command output with the expected result (i.e. what's inside the comment line). But with latest versions of ADS, whenever there is a TAB char inside a comment line, I get this error:
Command line contains control character(s) which is not allowed.
This constraint should not be applied to comment lines (i.e. lines starting with " # " ).
You can test it by creating a new script containing:
\help
# alias ask
(note there are not spaces but a TAB between "alias" and "ask" ), then run it in batch mode.
This has something to do with change made by issue #7098.
Now, TAB is allowed anywhere inside a script (not just in a comment).
