If I have multiple worksheets in an excel workbook, give me an option to export a single worksheet. If we want to support exporting all worksheets inside of a single workbook, then we should create separate files per worksheet.
The current implementation of \excel2csv is just a wrapper of Aspose's open/save() APIs which allow caller to open an Excel file (97, 2003, 2007, etc.) and save it in different format (CSV, PDF, etc.). Aspose open/save() APIs do not offer any options to read/write an Excel file at sheet/cell level, if this is something we are looking for, we need to rewrite \excel2csv. I am familiar with neither ADS Excel APIs nor Aspose Excel APIs, have no idea how long it would take to implement the new version of \excel2csv.
We can add these two options to csv2excel and excel2csv :
-wi WORKBOOK_INDEX_POSITION : Indicates the workbook to use determined by index of the workbook
-wn WOKKBOOK_NAME : Indicates the workbook to use determined by the name of the workbook
-wn will take priority if both options are specified. See ExcelTransformer.java

Initial implementation in SVN #29812. Still need to do synopsis, description, option description, examples.
Initial implementation in SVN #29812. Still need to do synopsis, description, option description, examples.
Both \excel2csv and \csv2excel commands now support -wi/-wn options. SVN r29844.
In current implementation, \excel2csv can only convert one worksheet a time; this is mentioned in the man page.
None of csv2* and exece2* commands provide an example section in man page, we probably should provide one for each of these commands.
