1. Option to change between Grid and Text messages
2. Options to rearrange and resize columns in Grid messages and have them persist.

I think we should add an option in File->Options->Results->[Message Results] called :

Message results type : { Auto, Grid, Text } : Default "Auto". 
Determines in what format the message results are displayed.  Auto will choose the format based on the number of query results returned in the script execution.

You can see the QueryThread class has two methods .addMessageTab_Grid() and .addMessageTab_Text().  The .addMessageTab_Text() is currently not used.  You can see the original modifications in SVN #28887.
