While connected to a MySQL database to rename a table using the command

rename table oldname to newname @

I get an error

rename: Too many operands

This conflicts with our shell command implementation rename : rename a file or a directory.

We can rename it to a shortform like "ren"

Renamed FS \rename to \ren.
