In OpenOffice on Windows you can click on a cell and use Shift-Ctrl-End to select all cells in current column to end.  This also works in Table Data Editor.

In OpenOffice on OSX you can click on a cell and use Shift-Cmd-End to select all cells in current column to end. This doesn't work in Table Data Editor as it startsCellEditing.
