Case 1: No password stored in server registration, click on OK button initially without entering password, will prompt for password twice

a. To reproduce, register a server with no password saved and create a query analyzer shortcut

b. Click on the shortcut and in the Authenticate dialog which appears click on the OK button without entering a password

c. The dialog appears again. Enter the correct password

d. Password will be prompted again

--

Case 2: No username and password stored, open fluidshell shortcut prompts for username twice

a. To reproduce, register a server with no username and password saved

b. Create a FluidShell shortcut

c. Click on the FluidShell shortcut, enter login name and password in the authenticate dialog

d. The FluidShell terminal prompts for User Name one more time

--

Case 3: No username and password stored, open query analyzer focus is on Password field

a. To reproduce, register a server with no username and password saved

b. Click on the server and open a Query window. Focus is on the password field instead of the username field

--

Case 4: Tools --> Import Data / Export Data / Object search etc wont display the username if no password is saved

a. To reproduce, register a server with no password saved

b.  Right click on the Server and try to select Tools --> Import Data / Export Data / Object search etc

c. Username is not displayed.

But if you compare with DBA tools, Query Analyzer As etc the Login Name is automatically populated.

--

Case 5: Change Server Connection and Password is displayed from older connection

a. To reproduce,  create 2 server registrations - one with no passwords saved (con1)

other one with no username and password saved (con2)

b. Open a query analyzer to a different server (not con1 and con2)

c. On the query window which opened up, click on the icon Change Server Connection

d. Change server to to con1, type in password

e. Now change the server 1 more time

f. Select the con2 with no username and password stored

but you can see that the password from the earlier connection is already populated.

If you need help in reproducing the any of the above cases, let me know
