1. Open ADS and Connect to SQL Server 2005 Server. In the Server Tree Node, expand Northwind database and go to User Tables.
2. Go to Windows-->ALl Programs-->Administrative Tools
3. Locate the SQL Server service and Stop the service
4. Start the service
5. Now in the ADS tree node, try to create a table
You can see that the Visual Editor now appears with the database name and schema name null
Create the table and you get NPE as below

This bahavior is understandable and we are not handling a faulty server. Perhaps in the future when we have more resources we can look into trying to handle a server that is on and off at random, though a database server should never be doing this.... especially in production...
