Server Register - Driver Tab logs excpetion

Launch Register Server
Select MS SQL Server 2k
Without entering any information in General Tab, click on Drivers Tab
No driver parameters are listed and datastudio logs following error message (see attached screenshot). I can reproduce this issue in older versions; I tested on v12 (Aqua Data Studio 12.0.11 Build #: 30450)

Base on discussion with Jenny, the fix is to have host a non-empty value. Currently if the host is empty, we assign value "host".

When we do the above said steps for MS SQL Server-ODBC and MS SQL Server 7.0-ODBC, Still no driver parameters are listed and in datastudio logs following error message.

There is nothing much we can do about ODBC. In case of any ODBC, the information we populate in Drivers tab is based on DataSource. If user enters an invalid DataSource, call to java.sql.Driver.getPropertyInfo(String url, Properties info) api throws exception and we log this.

You will see similar issue in case of Generic JDBC, if user enters Invalid Driver Class information.
