#8762: shift click on row numbers not keeping all selections

1. generate a grid result with more than 10 rows

2. click on the row number for row 2, depress the shift key

3. with shift still depressed, click on row 4 don't release shift

4. without releasing shift, click on row 8

5. you will notice that the row you selected in step 2 is no longer selected.

6. with shift still depressed click on row 10

7. you will now only have 4 rows closest to row 10 selected, even though you should have rows 2 -10 (inclusive) selected
