Currently, when ADS executes a script (via query analyzer or via visual editing UI), all line endings are sent in LF format only.
The enhancement is to add an option in File -> Options -> Query Analyzer -> SQL Server called "Convert all line endings from LF to CR+LF upon script, shell or UI execution". This will be a checkbox, with default as unchecked.
To reproduce the issue and ensure the enhancement has been implemented correctly, do the following:
1) With this new setting unchecked, create a stored proc in SQL Server. The proc should contain several newlines
2) Go to SQL Server Mgmt Studio and "Modify" the procedure. You'll get a warning message about inconsistent line feeds.
3) Go back to ADS and edit the procedure and save it
4) Go back to SQL Server Mgmt Studio and "Modify" the procedure -- you should not get any warning messages about inconsistent line feeds.
