Operating Environment: Windows 8 (6.2, x86).
Open a new Register server Window.Register a new database(Take any database) server say "testserver".
Now register a new server with same name but in uppercase "TESTSERVER" ,you will see that register server window will be closed and server will not be registered as well. Also it does not display any error message.
For MS Windows platform, we now check for existing connection names in a case insensitive fashion.
