SQLite Master Table Schema - sqlite_master
A detailed schema information of SQLite objects can be retrieved from SQLite's principal system view, sqlite_master. This view is a simple system catalog of sorts. Its schema is described in the below table.
Name | Description |
type | The object's type(table, index, view, trigger) |
name | The object's name |
tbl_name | The table the object is associated with |
rootpage | The object's root page index in the database |
sql | The object's SQL definition |
sqlite_sequence is another System Catalog Table which contains the Sequences. SQLite keeps track of the largest ROWID that a table has ever held using the internal table - sqlite_sequence. This table is created and initialized automatically whenever a normal table that contains an AUTOINCREMENT column is created.
sqlite_stat1 is an internal table created by the ANALYZE command and used to hold supplemental information about tables and indices that the query planner can use to help it find better ways of performing queries.
