3.6 DB2 zOS, Netezza, Vertica and Teradata drivers

DB2 z/OS, Netezza, Vertica and/or Teradata drivers are not bundled within the application as per these vendor's licensing requirements. To add jdbc drivers for DB2 z/OS, Netezza, Vertica and/or Teradata for database connections, these drivers must be copied in to the <ADSERVER_HOME>/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib after Aqua Data Server has been started and stopped at least once.

• Stopping/Starting Aqua Data Server in Mac

Once the drivers have been copied into <ADSERVER_HOME>/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib the application can be restarted, and connections to those databases will be available within AquaScripts.

Stopping/Starting Aqua Data Server in Windows

Manually Stop the Aqua Data Server service by choosing Start->Control Panel->System and Security->Administrative Tools->Services and right clicking on the Aqua Data Server service and selecting Stop.

Copy the driver(s) in the /Program Files/Aqua Data Server 13.0/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib then start the service again by choosing Start->Control Panel->System and Security->Administrative Tools->Services and right clicking on the Aqua Data Server service and selecting Start.

Stopping/Starting Aqua Data Server in Linux

Run the following command in Linux to stop Aqua Data Server.

sudo /etc/init.d/aquadataserver stop <press enter>

Copy the driver(s) in the /home/aquadataserver/aquadataserver/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib then start Aqua Data Server again by running the following command

sudo /etc/init.d/aquadataserver start <press enter>

Stopping/Starting Aqua Data Server in Mac

Run the following command in Terminal.app in OS X to stop Aqua Data Server

/Users/aquadataserver/aquadataserver/tomcat/bin/./tomcat6-osx-10-6.sh stop <press enter>

Copy the driver(s) into the /Users/aquadataserver/aquadataserver/tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib then start Aqua Data Server again by running the following command

/Users/aquadataserver/aquadataserver/tomcat/bin/./tomcat6-osx-10-6.sh start <press enter>
