The system status page provides a snapshot of system health, operating system parameters, JVM parameters, database connection pool parameters and quick access to log files.
Aqua Data Server is a Java application, which runs inside of a Java Virtual Machine (JVM), instead of directly within an operating system (OS). By default we have configured the JVM to request no more than 512MB of memory from the OS.
Memory Max: The maximum amount of memory that the JVM will allocate from the Operating System for use by Aqua Data Server. This is configurable with the -Xmx<SIZE>M JVM option. Instructions on how to change this value can be accessed for Windows, Linux or OS X.
Memory Total: The current total amount of memory the JVM has been allocated from the Operating System for use by Aqua Data Server.
Memory Used: The amount of memory currently in use by Aqua Data Server.
Aqua Data Server Logs: List all files located in the <USER_HOME>/.aquadataserver/logs directory. These files contain diagnostic information that can be used for application troubleshooting. For instance, unexpected errors encountered during the usage of the application will be logged here. For more information, see Aqua Data Server logs.
Catalina Logs: List all log files located in the <INSTALLATION_HOME>/tomcat/logs directory. These files contain tomcat related information and should be examined if Aqua Data Server is not starting up. For more information see Tomcat logs.
Provides a quick snapshot of the email system.
Current Status: Specifies whether the email engine is paused or started. See the Email Queue page for further explanation.
# of Archived, Outstanding and Invalid Emails: The counts indicate the number of emails in each directory. See the System Settings: Email Service page for further explanation.
Max Connections: The maximum number of database connections that Aqua Data Server will allocate from the database. This value is specified in aquadataserver.properties file.
Min Connections: The minimum number of database connections that Aqua Data Server will keep in its connection pool. At application startup Aqua Data Server will acquire the minimum number of connections as specified in aquadataserver.properties file.
Current Connections: The current number of database connections that Aqua Data Server has allocated from the database.
Connections Currently in Use: The current number of database connections in an active non-idle state.
Server Info: Version of Apache Tomcat being used by Aqua Data Server.
Operating Environment: Operating System type and version, Character Set and Java version being used by Aqua Data Server.
Host: Hostname of the machine that Aqua Data Server is running on.
IP Addresses: IP Addresses of the machine that Aqua Data Server is running on.
Mac Address: MAC address of the machine that Aqua Data Server is running on.
