Enhanced Private and Public User Profiles

Showcase your skills and talents to increase engagement within your organization. Aqua Data Server users can choose to make some or all of their profile information available to the Public or their Connections. Along with more detailed Basic Information, users have control over who gets to see their Work Summary, Experience and Education with User Profile Privacy Settings. Users can enable or disable an Activity Stream within their profile which lets others view their status. Public Profiles allow anyone, including people who aren't Aqua Data Server users, to see their profile information. 

What's new?

Public Profile

Every user can enable a Public Profile which displays only what the user chooses to share with the public. The Basic Information displayed has been expanded to include Title, Company, Industry, Website, Country and number of Connections.

Public Profile Settings

The Public Profile Settings determine whether the user's profile is public, and if it is, what elements of the profile are displayed.

Privacy Settings

The Privacy Settings control whether your Activity Feed is shared, and, if so, who gets to see your updates.

Private Profile

Every user's Private Profile contains information only their connections can view. The content displayed on this page is also completely under your control with settings you can edit.

Photo

Users can upload a photo to customize their profiles. Profile photos get displayed above a username on mouse hover, or adjacent to them within a Network Activity Feed or Stream. The Hover feature provides quick access to user profiles.

Summary

Here, users can post their accomplishments or work achievements.

Experience

Users can post details about their work experience including start and end times for a particular job, their job title and other information.

Education

Sorted in chronological order, your educational background is displayed along with associated College and Degree.
