If a query editor connection fails and the editor window is replaced with the retry/ping/close/open text dialog, the "retry" option does not work if the password has changed and the connection has been updated with the new password. For those of us who work in environments in which connections are transient and passwords are cycled frequently, this is a PITA. I am seeing this in 17.x but I think this goes back to 12.x. If there is a workaround for this or an existing patch, please let me know. Otherwise, it should be fixed to allow the updated password to be used.

This currently works as designed. I'll evaluate this use case with the current design.
@kin-hong: Docking framework issues are higher priority. Once those are finished, take a look at this issue to see how we can enhance the reconnect command to use the updated password. Also, will using secure storage to store the password address this issue?
