We need an additional permission level defined for a connection

Currently under the “General” tab we have 3 “Types” in the drop down

Requirement:

We want to have a property/setting so that for our most critical WRITE server we don’t want user running adhoc SELECT statements just to see their results.

We want allow SELECTS on this critical WRITE server only to feed into the WRITing process, implemented in ADS via the table data editor.

Hence, we need a property/setting that would only allow a select to be execute edited,

Only the Excute Edit would be enabled

The user would receive a customizeable message “Please use a READ server for your adhoc READ queries” if they tried anything else (execute, or execute current)
