Add Support for TeraData Version 17

I created a Teradata 17.5 machine and did some basic testing of the ADS features. Most features work but QA will need to do a thorough testing of all the tools and features in ADS to make sure that Teradata 17.5 is compatible with ADS. These area's include:

Aqua Commands

Aquascripts, AquaProjects

Compare Tools

Connection Monitor

Detail Window

Diagnostic Tools

DBA Tools

Database Registration

ER Modeler

Editors and Viewers

Execution Monitor

File Handling

Fluidshell

Import, Export Tool

Object Search

Procedure, Functions, Tables, Views, Constraints, Indexes and Triggers.

Query Analyzer

Query Builder

Script Objects

Scripting Tools

Visual Explain

Additionally, I included the Teradata version 17 driver which should be used when testing the above. You will also need to test Teradata 16 and Teradata 15 with the version 17 driver to confirm backwards conpatibility.

Hi,

I have done sanity testing with Teradata version 17 driver . It is compatible with ADS and also verified that it is backward compatible with Teradata 15 and Teradata 16 connections.

As the Teradata driver jar was not present in the ADS 22.0 drivers google drive. I downloaded from following official website and verified:

https://downloads.teradata.com/download/connectivity/jdbc-driver

Hence the ticket can be further verified by QA team.

Hi Tom,

I verified the terajdbc jar dowloaded from the link shared by you. It is compatible with ADS and also verified that it is backward compatible with Teradata 15 and Teradata 16 connections.

QA verified the Issue 15824 support for TeraData Version 17 .

Build tested: ADS v 22.0.0-dev-8

one pre-existing issue : 10957

Platform tested : Windows-10 ,Catalina (10.15),Ubuntu
