The radar chart can present your data in three distinct styles. The line display is the default style. The other styles are dot and area display. The dot display style helps you to identify gaps or clusters of your data.
The area display style covers your data series with different colors and compares multiple categories together.
The radar chart uses the web grid style, also known as a spider or star chart, as the primary grid display for your data. The other grid style is circle grid, also known as a polygon. There is also an option for not using a grid display for your data.
Visual Analytics can create small multiples of the radar chart in a single view and thus enables you to compare different data points at the same time.
