With the introduction of funnel charts, you can easily view the relative performance of various stages of a process. Funnel charts are commonly used for representing the different stages in a sales process and presenting the potential revenue for each stage. The following example shows you the sales pipeline for an organization.
By default, Visual Analytics sets the height of each slice proportional to its data value thus enabling quick visual comparisons. Alternatively, you may choose to specify a uniform height for all slices, irrespective of the data value.
Visual Analytics can present your data in two distinct styles. The funnel display is the default style. The other style is the pyramid display. It is similar to a funnel display style but has an inverted funnel.
The data labels in Visual Analytics are user-configurable. The visualization shows data labels for dimensions and measures that you drag to the Label deck and allows you to view percentage value for each category.
We have enhanced our sorting functionality by giving you the flexibility of sorting the slices according to their measure values in ascending or descending order. The sorting functionality is accessible by right-clicking on a dimension field in the accordion.
