Calculated Fields Enhancements

Enhanced Editor

The Calculated Field enhanced editor incorporates many of the features added in our redesigned editors including find and replace, brace and quote completion, annotation bar, and go to line. 

Preserves User Spacing

The editor now preserves user-specified indents and spacing between expressions.

Syntax Highlighting

Now easily read and compare field names, function names, keywords, and values of expressions in a meaningful set of colors.

Autocompletion

The new autocompletion functionality matches any part of field, parameter, and function names. The autocompletion pop-up can be resized dynamically using the mouse.

Sort Autocompletion List

You can sort the autocompletion list by relevance () or in lexical order (). Sorting by relevance places the most frequently used items near the top of the list. Sorting lexicographically sorts the list alphabetically.

New Toolbar

One of the most noticeable changes in the Calculated Field Editor is the addition of a toolbar. You can undo and redo actions, open the streamlined Find and Replace interface, and change text case.
