Chart Properties Axes

The Chart Properties Deck allows you to modify and control the Chart shown in the Chart Pane. The contents of the Chart Properties Deck changes depending on how many Dimensions and Measures appear in the Columns and Rows decks. If there are at least two Measures present in a Column or Row deck, you can select options in the [Chart Properties > Axes] button.

The settings within the [Chart Properties > Axes] button allows you to select:

Individual Axes - Each Measure and Dimension combination gets its own independently labelled chart in the Chart Pane.

Merged Axes (Stacked) - The Measures will stack one column in front of the other with a different color for each Measure Name and an Axis Value Label only on one side.

Merged Axes (Clustered) - Each cell in the Chart will show individual Measure value ranges next to each other similar to a clustered bar chart with an Axis Value Label on one side.

Dual Axes - Each side of the Chart Pane will display a Measure value range and label for a distinct Measure with a different color for each Measure Name.

If you want to control the measure tick marks, axis title, range and axis location shown within an axis, right click the axis in the chart and select the [Edit Axis...] menu.
